Money – Yes, I said it. Money!

If you or your children have ever played sports or have a hobby, you know how expensive it is for 4 practice sessions and 4 games in a month. Now, take that and multiply by 10-14 hours a day, 6 days a week, at least 3 years…well, you get the point. Raw talent and practice may push an athlete toward perfection, but if the athlete can’t afford to pay trainers and travel expenses to get to the Olympics, the world will never see that athlete perform.

“Time is more valuable than money. You can get more money, but you cannot get more time.” – Jim Rohn

It does take money to make money. And effective budgeting is essential to properly managing your online business activities. Depending on your ability and the time you are able to commit yourself, it is possible to save thousands of dollars by diving in and doing much of the work yourself. However, your time is limited, and once you have exhausted internal resources, it’s time to seek out a professional firm that can help you with strategy and help you implement your online business programs.

The Olympic Games have taught us things like teamwork, discipline, goal setting and visualizing your dreams…and being aware of the importance of money! At Firefly we understand teamwork. And we know how to work hard and play harder! We share a common goal here: to dream, and then work at that dream until we carry it through, just as any Olympian would do for their team! In most cases, that dream is your dream!

We hope you enjoyed our Olympic Games Series so much you’re motivated to share it with your teammates too!

Congrats to US Olympian Gabby Douglas winning the gold medal in the women’s all-around competition on Thursday in London, becoming the first African-American female gymnast to ever win individual Olympic gold.
